Our Story
At a young age, Lisa's mother taught her and her two sisters how to make wontons. They would wrap them along the kitchen counter in an assembly line and hand them to their mother, as she would fry them. Over the years, Lisa has continued that tradition with her daughters.
For years Lisa worked for Thales Air Traffic Management as a Program Manager. As a Program Manager, she worked with several integral groups of the company. To thank them for their efforts with her programs, every year at Christmas, she would prepare several trays of pork and shrimp wontons for all of them.
When she left the company she was approached by a gentleman from the shipping department who was disappointed that he would not have his yearly treat of wontons for that Christmas, and suggested that Lisa start her own wonton business.
Lisa took his suggestion to heart, opened her first booth at the annual Sacred Heart Holiday Fair in Shawnee, KS and handed out samples. She realized there was a niche market for her simple passion and continued to grow her business over the years.
